ROAD TRIP!!!! I WON AT THE CASINO! So just a couple of months ago i met up with two of my great friends from Jr. High after a few years of not seeing each other. I swear it was just a two year gap, but according to my friend Esther it's been more like 4... but i still think it was two. So a few months back we thought how crazy it was that friends such as us haven't seen or met up with each other in soooooo long, so on our second date we planned a spontaneous trip to "somewhere" ... it ended up being a Niagra/States trip :) So this past saturday... Packed a small backpack, the passport and the US bills and i was off...... Niloo, Esther and i.... So Niloo drove and her stereo was broken so we had an ipod-->cassette deck-->mini boombox happening.. but that wasn't working too good so we just drove in silence. We had breakfast at this stopover place where they had pancakes the size of frying pans! freaking huge!!! and also a great photo op to ride those cheesy rides in a ghetto "arcade" *will post pics later* When we got to the boarder there was lineup of cars.... we were in traffic for 1hr45mins i would say... But sitting in that car and talking about all our ethnic backgrounds made us three laugh. There's Niloo from Iran (with those terrorists) Esther from Korea (with those Nukes) and me from Indo (with all those crazy fanatics) And we laughed about how they'd probably pull us over... and of course they did. :P We went to Niagra Prime Outlet and Walden Galleria... I had an errand to run for my bro at JC Penny... Apparently last year when he went, he bought a hoodie from there and they forgot to take that freakin ink security tag off. Way to go JC Penny* So of course he couldn't wear it cuz anywhere he'd go they'd think he stole it. Shopping was good didn't buy a lot.... but that's always good. We left there around 10ish night and arrived at Casino Niagra at 12ish... my first time in a casino... i had no idea it'd be sooooo full at night and apparently they never close. A 24 Hour casino, it's like a 7 Eleven. Anyways... we all put $20 down and said if we lost it we'd walk away.... i didn't lose :D I WON! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I won $2 :) ... that's after i won the $20 back We made it back to toronto around 4:45 am and went to Pho (of course) and by the time i got to bed the clock was ringing in at 6:30am. MMMM that was fun. love you all! I'll share my winnings with whoever replies back... i'll divide the $2 by the number of people who reply :D |
